Claire Jeantet, Fabrice Caterini

The same play repeats itself after each period of calm. While the politicians prepare the next fight, Lebanese repossesses their country. Restaurants are fully booked, beaches are invaded and the ledge besieged. Soon, the manicured goddesses go out of their den and old women settle down in the balcony for an other turkish coffee. Families take the road of the mountain to join the village of their forefathers. The Lebanese from Diaspora are welcomed with great pomp at the airport. They greet eachother in three languages : "Hi! Kiffak? Ca va ?". The tourists savour their first mezzé in front of the sea, next to the famous Raouché cave.
