There are six thousand suspected cases examined every year in France whereas three times more exist in New York every year. Legal constraints or different methodologies… At the medical examiner’s Institute of Lyon, that type of test rarely leads to an American «happy end». No Hollywood smiling faces, no suspenseful plots. Here medical examiners are first and foremost doctors, they operate while exchanging technical comments.
